Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan airport Trekking Experts representative welcomes you and assists to transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu. Upon arrival at hotel, our tour manager will brief you about trekking information and other necessary information. And then you’ll free time to explore Kathmandu. In the evening, you’ll have welcome dinner at typical Nepali restaurant where you can taste Nepali cuisine with some cultural performances.
After leisurely breakfast at hotel, you’ll be transferred to airport and will take 25 minutes’ flight to Pokhara. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you’ll meet your trekking guide and porters there. And then you’ll drive to Nayapool which will take about half and hour drive through Modi Khola. From Nayapool, you’ll start your first day of walking to Birethanti which is very short walk. Your walk will follow a ridgeline in the lower foothills of the Annapurnas with surrounding views of the Pokhara Valley. This route then drops to the Modi River Valley, where Ker & Downey's Sanctuary Lodge is located. The lodge has magnificent views of the sacred and unclimbed Fishtail Mountain, or Machhapuchhre, as it is locally known.
After breakfast at lodge, you will leave the lodge to start the trek through the scattered small farms. Following the Modi Khola and with constant view of Mt. Machhapuchhre ahead, you will soon climb the valley towards the mountains. Passing through the rice fields and forest, you will arrive at the Himalaya Lodge in Ghandruk early afternoon to a hot lunch that is served on arrival as you enjoy the spectacular views of Annapurna Massif.
After breakfast at lodge and have beautiful views of Annapurna massif in the backdrop from Ghandruk, you’ll descends steeply to the banks of Modi River. Crossing the suspension bridge, you’ll trek up into the Landruk (Langdrung) village enjoying the views of Annapurna range passing through the cliffs that where honey hunters climb up on the ropes to hunt the wild bee honey. Lunch will be ready as we arrive at our lodge. After the lunch, you are either rest in your room to rest enjoying the spectacular views of the mountains or go on a sightseeing tour in the village with your guide.
After breakfast at lodge, as your porters pack the bags to leave for the trek, you along with your guide will start your trek passing through the village and farmlands with views of Annapurnas at your back. An easy trek to Majgaon today, you arrive at the Ker and Downy Lodge. You can enjoy the views of the mountains from your room itself relaxing after the trek or spend your time at the garden. You can also take a short walk to the village with our guide.
After breakfast at lodge, you’ll start you’ll continue your trekking towards Patlekhet, a small village on the way towards Pothana where you stop. Pothana is another small village along the trek which is used by Tibetan traders to sell their souvenirs and gifts to the tourist trekking up and down the Annapurna Base Camp. As you reach your lodge in Dhampus, you get the spectacular views of the entire Annapurna range. Once at the lodge you will be served hot lunch after which you can take a short walk into Dhampus village.
After breakfast at lodge, you’ll do your last day of trekking by descending through the wooded hillside and terraced farmland to the valley floor. Upon arrival at Phedi, you’ll be picked up your vehicle and drive to Pokhara which will take about 45 minutes. After check-in at hotel in Pokhara, you’ll have free time to relax at hotel or explore around Pokhara.
Morning you’ll have free time to explore Pokhara valley. After breakfast you can hike around or explore around. In the afternoon, you’ll transfer to airport and fly to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, Trekking Experts’ representative will receive you and drop to hotel. After check-in at hotel, you’ll have free time to explore around Kathmandu.
After enjoying a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, we’ll be met by our city tour guide for our day trip to a few of the Kathmandu valley’s most spectacular and important sights and some vibrant, colorful markets. With a meld of three ancient capitals and their associated palaces, temples and markets of Kathmandu has a lot to offer culturally and historically. However, we’re mindful not to overload you on your first day so will ensure the day has a good balance between sightseeing, exploring and relaxation time. The exact itinerary may change depending on the local conditions but we shall most likely visit: - Pashupatinath, one of the most important temples in South Asia to the Hindu God, Lord Shiva; - One of the three Durbar (Palace) Squares, a complex of palaces and temples which was formally the social, religious and administrative focal point of the ancient city. - Boudhnnanath Stupa, a wonderful Buddhist site centered on a huge Stupa topped with the all-seeing eyes. If possible we’ll come here in the early evening to soak up the atmosphere of hundreds of Tibetan and Sherpa peoples walking their devotional khora. And after tour back to hotel. Evening farewell dinner at local authentic Nepalese restaurant. Overnight at Hotel
