Nepal is home for 8000-meter giant mountains in the world. There are fourteen 8000-meters mountains in the world and out of them 8 are situated in Nepal including highest mountain in the world. All eight 8000-meters mountains are opened for climbing.

 

List of 8000-meter Mountains in Nepal:

 

Second highest mountain, Mount K2 (8611m) is located in Pakistan. Also ninth highest peak Mount Nanga Parbat (8125m), eleventh highest mountain Mount Gasherbrum I (8080m), twelfth highest mountain Mount Broad Peak (8051m) and thirteenth highest mountain Gasherbrum II (8034m) are also situated in Pakistan.
