Are you planning to climb royalty free mountains of Nepal? If yes, it is possible in Nepal. There are several mountains/peaks which you can climb without paying any climbing permit fee. You just need to take your climbing guide to climb these peaks.
As per the decision of Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTA), mountains with less than 5800m will be promoted as trekking peaks and royalty fee has been waived for those peaks. Hence, the following peaks managed by NMA are free of royalty fee:
