‘Agricultural Support Program’ is one of the most effective and most favored program by local people of Haku. Nearly 83% people of Haku are based traditional agriculture and farming. People of Haku are not making significant development in agriculture even huge population are dependent on agriculture. Lack of education, proper knowledge of agriculture, remoteness and less involvement of youths in agriculture are the main reason that life of farmers in Haku are not making progress. In order to overcome these lacks and bring conventional agriculture to modern agriculture, youths of Haku have united to some changes in agriculture in Haku.
Trekking Experts is leading the charge for modernization of agriculture in Haku and have initiated an agricultural development firm called ‘Sano Haku Agro’. Nearly fifty youths of Sano Haku are united and started a startup company which will train local man power, produce agricultural products and supply to potential markets which will benefit whole seven villages of Haku region. Sano Haku Agro is founded with a slogan of “A start up to turn barren Haku to an Utopia.” in 2024.
It became the most common in Nepal that all youths go abroad in the name of higher study seeking their brighter future abroad. Secondly, all educated people are migrating towards urban areas, cities where they can get better jobs, can enjoy better lives and opportunities. Only old aged people left in the villages which turns villages into ghost haunting places. Most of the villages are not out of youths which caused serious problem in development of remote areas and humanity. In order to break such odds of Nepalese communities, youth of Haku did a unexpectedly united and decided to return back to own birthplace; Haku. And now these youths are seeking their bright future herein Haku and trying to make changes and development through modern and organic farming. Read more about Sano Haku Agro
