This is for kind information that your flight to Lukla during high season will be different than your scheduled program. During high season (including March, April, May, September, October and November) there won’t be flight to Lukla directly from Kathmandu. Instead, all the flights to Lukla will be operated from Ramechhap/Manthali. In our standard program, flight to Lukla is mentioned from Kathmandu. But Nepal Government (Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal) has decided to operate flights to Lukla from Ramechhap in order to reduce flight traffic in Kathmandu.
There will be daily flight to Lukla from Ramechhap and all the domestic aeroplanes will be stationed in Ramechhap for early morning flight. It will take about 5-6 hours to reach Ramechhap from Kathmandu. So, after arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll drive to Ramechhap same day to catch next days flight to Lukla. In this case, there won’t any changes on the program except flights and drive in addition. Whereas, during off seasons, (including January, February, June, July, August and December) the flight is operated from Kathmandu.
